Chef Steven Duncan

Starting with his experience and early passion for diversified flavors, and an interest in multi-ethnic foods, Chef Steven Duncan began his career working in the restaurant business. Chef Steven Duncan began his career working in the restaurant business. Steven graduated with Honors from the Culinary Arts Program in Houston, Texas while working full time. He refined his skills working with Caribbean, Gulf Coast, and Texas regional foods, advanced to Sous chef, and took the next step towards fine dining and European cuisine. Steven caught on quickly to the “Old School” method of cooking while under the wing of renowned chefs Gerard Bach of Chez Nous Restaurant and Jack Martinez of Amedeo’s Classic Italian Restaurant. Working beside these culinary experts enabled Steven to develop an uncompromising work ethic and respect for the Classic Kitchen Brigade in order to pursue food excellence. His early years of working with world-class chefs gave Steven the necessary credentials to become Chef de Cuisine in the 1998 for an International Airline Catering company. He catered numerous international flights out of Houston including Air France and Lufthansa. Since 2000, Chef Duncan has been the Chef de Cuisine for Airway Executive Aircraft Catering, where he is dedicated to giving a true dining experience to all of our clients. Chef Steven’s passion is to enhance the bond between upscale dining and air travel catering and his motto is “The Sky’s the limit!”
